Lionstead Ventures acquires Tata Steel’s Ceramet unit for Rs.99 Lakhs

Mumbai-based, publicly-listed Tata Steel has sold its entire equity (90%) in Thane-based Ceramat Private Limited to Lionstead Ventures LLP (via its unit Lionstead Applied Materials), for INR 99 lakhs.Ceramat is a manufacturer and supplier of nano hydroxyapatite and thermal plasma grade hydroxyapatite which are used in medical devices, oral care and food. For FY25, Ceramat registered a turnover of INR 1.73 crore and had a networth of INR 13 crore.
