Lloyds Metals and Mining raises Rs.750-Cr in NCDs from Kotak Alternate

Mumbai-based Lloyds Metals and Mining has raised INR 750 crore via non-convertible debentures (NCDs) from Kotak Alternate Asset Managers.Incorporated in 1977, Lloyds is an integrated player in the metals and mining sector, operating the Surjagarh iron ore mine in the Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra. The company plans to use the new capital to strengthen its balance sheet and support growth and capacity expansion, including its downstream steel operations.
