Logistics tech platform Oorjaa raises Rs.9.7-Cr Series A led by Equentis

Mumbai-based B2B (business-to-business) logistics technology platform Oorjaa has raised Rs.9.7-Cr in the first close of its Series A funding round led by Equentis Angel Fund, with participation from Inflection Point Ventures.Founded in 2019 by Sandeep Patil, Prashant Mohite, Yogesh Parab, and Umesh Singh, Oorjaa operates an asset-light logistics model that integrates a nationwide network of hubs, fleet, and manpower with a proprietary technology layer.The company plans to use the new funds to strengthen Datashastra, its proprietary AI/SaaS logistics stack, by enhancing control-tower and automation capabilities. Additionally, the firm will use the capital to expand its mid-mile and last-mile network, take Datashastra into international markets starting with the GCC region and recruit staff across technology, operations, and enterprise sales.

In Oct 2024, Oorjaa had attracted about $ 0.77 M from Equentis and others.For FY25, Oorjaa had reported about INR 79 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 6 Cr in Net loss.
