Long-duration drone maker Alteon raises $2.5 M from Lachy Groom, Together Fund
Bengaluru-based Alteon has raised USD 2.5 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Lachy Groom, with participation from Together Fund.Founded in 2023 by Samay Sanghvi, the company develops autonomous aircraft designed to remain airborne for extended periods by using dynamic soaring to harvest energy from wind gradients.The company plans to use the new funds for offshore tests to achieve autonomous dynamic soaring without propulsion and to scale research and development efforts to deploy a fleet of aircraft.
