Long-haul segment logistics platform ShipNext raises Rs.4.5 Cr led by Group Meeran
Chennai-based ShipNext Solutions, an end-to-end online logistics platform in the long haul segment, has raised INR 4.5 crore in its pre-Series A round led by Kerala-based Group Meeran. The company's other early investors include Kerala State Industries Development Corporation and Eastern Treads. The company's machine learning-based AI apps called 'WeTruck' and 'WeTruck Partner' automate the entire booking process for customers and operations for the service provider. From order placement to proof-of-delivery verification, invoicing, generating lorry receipt and real-time payments, WeTruck offers the complete online procedure in the long haul segment. ShipNext processes over 3,500 annual orders on average and plans to increase that to 50,000 orders in the next two years.
