Bengaluru-based Decode Age has raised INR 14.48 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Dr Krishna Prasad Chigurupati, Chairman and Managing Director of Granules India Ltd.Founded in 2021 by Parth Amin, Darshit Patel and Rakesh Somani, Decode Age is focused on ageing biology, biomarker research, and gut microbiome science. The company has developed a longevity research platform that includes multi-omics testing, biomarker discovery, and precision-based interventions.The new funds will be used to expand its biomarker discovery programmes, advance multi-omics and microbiome research pipelines, and enhance scientific and analytical infrastructure. The company also intends to invest in formulation research aligned with key aspects of ageing and aims to foster collaborations within the longevity ecosystem and build scientific, clinical, and product teams for global market expansion.
