Luxury travel bags maker Eume raises Rs.25-Cr led by Ashish Kacholia
Mumbai-based premium luggage maker Eume has raised INR 25 crore (USD 3 million) in a Series A round led by Ashish Kacholia. The round also saw participation from existing investor Pradeep Rathod (Cello Group) and Prithviraj Kothari (Arvog Financial).The fresh funds will be used by the company for expansion of physical retail, to strengthen operations and marketing and also for working capital needs.Founded in 2018 by Naina Parekh and Pranay Parekh, Eume sells luggage, backpacks, vegan handbags, and accessories. The company plans to open three stores in Bangalore, Mumbai and Hyderabad.
