Luxury villa rental player StayVista raises $5-M from JSW Ventures, others
Mumbai-based luxury villa and homestay rental startup StayVista has raised INR 40 crore (around USD 5 million) in a Series B funding round led by JSW Ventures. The round also saw participation from existing investors DSG Consumer Partners and Capri Global Family Office.The new funds will be used by the firm to expand into new geographies, strengthen the team and boost the supply-side of the services.Founded in 2015 by Ankita Sheth, Amit Damani and Pranav Maheshwari, Vista Rooms offers luxury properties and homestay on rent. It has also partnered with online aggregators MakeMyTrip (MMT), Goibibo and Airbnb to expand its bookings and claims to have a presence in more than 85 locations.
Between Nov 2016 and Sep 2022, StayVista had attracted about USD 7 M from Singularity Holdings, Soham Vencaps, Artha India Ventures, DSG Consumer Partners, Capri Global Holdings and others.
