Mumbai-based Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) has appointed Prateek Jhawar as its head of real assets for India. Jhawar will be responsible for MAM's infrastructure and green investments teams in India and will lead origination and investment strategies for the firm's growth.Jhawar joins MAM from Avendus Capital, where he worked for 17 years. He possesses over two decades of experience in investment banking and corporate finance, with a background in mergers and acquisitions and strategic transactions across infrastructure, power, logistics, and real estate, alongside experience in structuring and fundraising.
