Macquarie India MD & Co-Head Deep Gupta quits: report
Deep Gupta , Managing Director and Co-Head for Southeast Asia & India at Macquarie Asset Management, has resigned after an 18-year tenure with the firm. He is currently serving his gardening leave and is expected to formally exit by the end of December.Since joining Macquarie Group in 2008, Gupta has been instrumental in steering several transactions. His contributions include leading the acquisition of the National Highways Authority of India’s inaugural Toll-Operate-Transfer (ToT) assets for INR 9,681 crore, driving investments in GMR Airports Holding and Stride Climate Investments and overseeing key divestments such as the sale of a stake in ATC India and in multiple road investments.
