Madison India Capital sells 1.15 % stake in Star Health for Rs.299-Cr, exits

Madison India Capital has exited Chennai-based Star Health and Allied Insurance by divesting its entire 1.15% stake. It sold 67.72 lakh equity shares at INR 441.01 apiece through an open market transaction fetching INR 298.67 crore.Meanwhile, PI Opportunities AIF V LLP, an affiliate of Premji Invest, bought 45.35 lakh shares (0.77% stake) for INR 200 crore, at an average price of INR 441 apiece.
