Makeup learning platform Airblack raises $5.2-M from Info Edge, Elevation Capital, others
Gurugram-based Airblack, an online makeup and beauty learning platform, has raised USD 5.2 million in a Series A funding round led by Info Edge Ventures and Elevation Capital. The funding round also saw participation from Atelier Ventures, founded by Li Jin, former partner at Andreessen Horowitz. The company will use the funds to accelerate the expansion of ‘Beauty Club', launching new ‘clubs' and investing in products, engineering and brand. Airblack helps micro entrepreneurs and creators by giving them access to DIT (do-it-together) courses from curated experts. The company had raised USD 1.5 million in April 2019, in a seed round led by Elevation Capital.
