Managed accommodation space provider Stanza Living raises Rs.110-Cr led by Alpha Wave

Delhi-based managed-accommodation space provider Stanza Living has raised INR 110 crore in a bridge round headed by global investment company Alpha Wave. The company issued 1,207 preference shares at INR 911440.17 a piece in order to raise INR 110 crore.Out of this, INR 83 crore has been invested by Alpha Wave, while Matrix Partners India, Accel India, and Peak XV put in INR 27 crore. With 26.62% of shares, Alpha Wave (previously Falcon Edge) is the top stakeholder in the startup, followed by Matrix Partners and Accel.Founded in 2017, Stanza Living secured USD 57 million in debt financing from Kotak Mahindra Bank and RBL Bank in March 2022, following a USD 100 million equity raise in April 2021. To date, the company has collected over USD 230 million through equity and debt rounds.Stanza Living was started by two erstwhile IIM-A hostel roomies, Anindya Dutta and Sandeep Dalmia. It provides fully-managed shared living accommodations to students and young professionals.
