Mango-based products exporter MangoPoint raises $1-M led by IPV
Chennai-based MangoPoint has raised USD 1 million in a pre-Series A round led by Inflection Point Ventures, with participation from Chennai Angels, Native Angel Network, Keiretsu Forum India, Fondation Botnar, IIM-CAN, Metis Family Office and Jito Incubation and Innovation Foundation.The fresh funding will be used by the company for expansion of its infrastructure, strengthening backend operations, entering new markets, and diversifying product portfolio.Founded in 2018 by Manjula Gandhi Rooban and Prasanna Venkatarathnam, MangoPoint produces and exports premium mango-based products across the country and to over 50 countries. The company claims to produce carbide-free and chemical-free single origin mangoes.
In Feb-22 Mango Point has raised funding from Chennai Angels, Keiretsu Forum Chennai, and Native Angels Network.
