Maritime infra-focused Clear Robotics raises $1.75 M led by Shipsfocus Ventures

Bengaluru- and Hong Kong-based Clear Robotics (also known as Clearbot) has raised USD 1.75 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Shipsfocus Ventures, with participation from Katapult Ocean, SGInnovate, and M7 Holdings.Founded in 2020 by Sidhant Gupta and Utkarsh Goel, the firm operates a fleet of 26 all-electric, AI-optimised unmanned surface vessels designed for maritime infrastructure tasks.The firm plans to use the capital to accelerate its expansion into India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Additionally, the funds will support the development of larger unmanned vessels, research and development for automated port surveying, and the scaling of commercial retrofit technology for open-ocean operations.
