Masala paste seller CURRYiT raises Rs.1.5 Cr on Shark Tank India
New Delhi-based D2C (direct-to-consumer) food brand CURRYiT has raised INR 1.5 crore from Mohit Yadav, co-founder of Minimalist, on Shark Tank India, valuing the company at INR 45 crore.Founded in 2020 by Richa Sharma and Nischal Kandula, CURRYiT claims to sell clean-label instant wet masalas, ready-to-cook curries and biryani mixes designed to simplify everyday Indian cooking. The brand claims to sell over 40 SKUs (stock keeping units).CURRYiT plans to expand across quick commerce and D2C channels while evaluating international markets, including the USA, Middle East, Singapore, Hong Kong, Canada, the UK and Germany in 2026.
In Nov 2021, CURRYiT had raised funding from RPSG Capital Ventures and others.
