Materials science co. Dashamlabs raises Rs.12-Cr led by Speciale Invest
Gurugram-based Dashamlabs , a materials science company engaged in producing high-performance silica aerogel insulation materials, has raised INR 12 crore in a seed funding round led by Speciale Invest, with participation from IIMA Ventures.Co-founded in 2024 by Ankit Jhanwar, Apoorv Balwani, and Devakar Dhingra, Dashamlabs makes silica-aerogel-based flexible sheets and insulation materials. The company claims to develop high-performance, fire-resistant, and lightweight insulation products designed for industrial, mobility, and infrastructure applications.The funding proceeds will be used to expand the company’s R&D and production capacity, build pilot systems, and collaborate with partners across oil & gas, electric vehicles, defence, and construction to validate and scale its aerogel products.
