Maths-focused edtech co. Bhanzu raises $16.5 M led by Epiq Capital, Z3 Partners
Hyderabad-based mathematics-focused edtech platform Bhanzu has raised USD 16.5 million in its Series B round led by Epiq Capital and Z3 Partners. The round also saw participation from existing investors Lightspeed Ventures and Eight Roads. The new funds will be used for expansion in the US market.Founded in 2020 by Neelakantha Bhanu, Bhanzu provides experiential maths learning courses that enable cognitive abilities among children aged between 5 to 16 years. It claims to have trained over 30,000 students through its bouquet of courses. Besides India, Bhanzu has presence in the US, the UK and Middle East.
Between Jul 21 and Sep 22, Bhanzu had raised about USD 17.17 M from B Capital Group, Eight Roads Ventures and Lightspeed Ventures.
