Mattress maker The Sleep Company to raise Rs.105-Cr from Saffron Investments, others
Mumbai-based D2C (direct-to-consumer) mattress startup The Sleep Company is to raise INR 105 crore (USD 12.3 Mn) in its Series D funding round led by Saffron Investments. The round will also see participation from Carillon Investments and Infinity Partners.Saffron Investments will contribute INR 87.7 crore, while Carillon Investments B.V. and Infinity Partners will invest INR 9.7 crore and INR 7.7 crore, respectively.Founded in 2019, The Sleep Company sells mattresses, recliner beds, pillows, seat cushions, office chairs, and other bedding accessories through online and offline channels.In FY24, the company reported a revenue of INR 328.19 crore and a net loss of INR 48.31 crore, which increased by 30.35% from INR 37.06 crore in FY23.
Between Jun 2021 and Dec 2023, The Sleep Company had attracted about USD 51 M from Fireside Ventures, LogX Ventures, Alteria Capital, PremjiInvest, and others.
