Max Life Insurance acquires 3% stake in Capital Small Finance Bank for Rs.49.5 Cr

Max Life Insurance Company Ltd has picked a 2.99% equity stake in Jalandhar-headquartered Capital Small Finance Bank (CSFB) for INR 49.50 crore. As part of this investment, 10,57,700 equity shares of CSFB of INR 10 each at a premium of INR 458 per equity share has been allotted to Max Life. This strategic investment has increased the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) of CSFB to 20.77 %.
