Meddo acquires healthtech startup Doxper
Gurugram-based healthtech startup Meddo has acquired Bangalore-based Doxper in a cash and stock deal. Doxper, which works in the prescription digitisation space, allows clinicians to instantly digitise case sheets using a smartpen and encoded paper. Meddo plans to scale up its branded full suite clinics to over 1,000 in the next 12-15 months across the 10 top-tier markets within India. The acquisition will enable Meddo to provide a one-stop care for the millions of patients across the Doxper network.
From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: Between May-17 and Aug-19, Doxper had raised over $5-M from Alkemi Venture Partners, Capier Investments and others.
