Medical equipment maker Curapod raises Rs.20-Cr from V3 Ventures, 3i Partners, others

Hyderabad-based Curapod , backed by Litemed , has raised INR 20 crore in its Pre-Series A funding round led by V3 Ventures, 3i Partners, and Ideaspring Capital.Founded in 2022, Curapod is a non-invasive pain relief device using photobiomodulation (PBM) technology to target pain and promote healing at the cellular level. It claims to provide drug-free relief for chronic pain and sports injuries .The company plans to use the fresh capital to accelerate product innovation and app upgrades, strengthen branding and marketing, and expand direct-to-consumer sales through new marketplace launches. The company also intends to deepen partnerships across gyms, physiotherapy centres, and sports medicine networks while scaling its manufacturing capacity and go-to-market operations. The firm will also use the funding to enter European markets.

Between Mar-23 and Jun-25, Litemed had attracted about USD 1.5 M from Ideaspring, 3i Partners, Verlinvest, and others.For FY25, Litemed had reported about INR 1.7 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 4.5 Cr in Net Loss.
