Medical imaging solutions provider Qure.ai raises $65-M led by Lightspeed, 360 ONE
Bengaluru-headquartered diagnostics startup Qure.ai has raised USD 65 million led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and 360 ONE Asset Management. Merck & Co., via Merck Global Health Innovation Fund, and Kae Capital also joined the Series D round, along with Novo Holdings, Health Quad, and TeamFund.The company would use the proceeds to expand in the US and other global markets and fund acquisitions to develop products that use generative AI foundation models to help detect diseases.Founded in 2016 by Prashant Warier and Pooja Rao, Qure.ai provides solutions for medical imaging and diagnostics. It has deployed qXR, a tool for TB screening, across 139 health facilities in India since February 2020.
Between Feb 2020 and Mar 2022, Qure.ai had raised over USD 56 M from MassMutual Ventures, TeamFund, HealthQuad and Peak XV Partners.
