Medical record s'ware provider HealthPlix raises $22-M led by Avataar Venture Partners

Bengaluru-headquartered electronic medical record (EMR) software provider for doctors HealthPlix Technologies has raised USD 22 million in a Series C round of funding, led by Avataar Venture Partners. Other investors in the round include SIG Venture Capital and existing investors Lightspeed Venture Partners, JSW Ventures, Kalaari Capital and Chiratae Ventures. Founded by Sandeep Gudibanda, Raghuraj Sunder Raju and Prasad Basavaraj in 2014, HealthPlix services over 10,000 doctors across 16 specialties with its artificial intelligence powered EMR platform. The firm claims that over 22 million patients have been treated using the platform.
