Medical robotics player Articulus Surgical bags funding from Kalaari Capital

Bengaluru-based medical robotics startup Articulus Surgical has raised funding from Kalaari Capital. Gaurav Agarwal, co-founder and managing director of Innvolution Healthcare, and Sandeep Daga, managing director of Nine Rivers Capital, are also backers of the firm.Founded in 2019 by Saurya Mishra, Articulus Surgical develops robotics systems for minimally invasive soft-tissue surgeries. Its flagship product, Pulsar, is a compact modular robotic platform designed for abdominal and pelvic surgeries. It has also developed Nebula, a robotic surgery training and simulation platform, deployed in teaching at hospitals and medical colleges, and Galaxi, an intelligent surgical optics robot.The new funds will be used to accelerate market deployments, expand surgeon training programs, and deepen partnerships with hospitals over the next 12-18 months.
