Medtech co. Monitra Health raises funding led by IAN Group

Hyderabad-based medtech company Monitra Health has raised funding in a round led by IAN Group. The round also saw participation from New Age India Fund, Lavni Ventures, VCMint, Global HealthX, We Founder Circle, Hyderabad Angels and other angels and family offices of healthcare operators.Founded in 2016 by Sashank Bhogu, Aparna Bhogu and Ravi Bhogu, Monitra Health develops upBeat, a full-stack remote cardiac monitoring platform that encompasses wearable hardware, proprietary signal-acquisition technology, cloud software, analytics, and clinical reporting. The platform is claimed to be used by hospital networks and clinicians from Manipal, Apollo, Aster, and AIG.The new funds will be used to accelerate global certifications, scale its commercial reach within India, and build organisational depth for global operations.

Between Jun 2023 and Nov 2023, Monitra Healthcare had attracted about USD 2 M from AWE Funds, Equanimity Investments, Haystack Investment, Lavni Ventures, Kotak Alternate and others.For FY25, Monitra Healthcare had reported about INR 5 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 5 Cr in Net Loss.
