Mental health startup Amaha raises Rs.50-Cr
Bengaluru-based Amaha, formerly InnerHour, has raised INR 50 crore in an extended Series A round. The round was led by existing investor Fireside Ventures, with participation from Shreyas Shibulal and Lightbox.Founded in 2016 by Amit Malik, with Neha Kirpal joining as co-founder in 2019, Amaha provides treatment for conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and OCD, utilizing clinical expertise and technology. The company reports over 6 million users, 220,000 therapy sessions, 50,000 community members, and 120 partnerships. The new funds are designated for operations, team expansion, capital expenditure, and working capital needs.This funding round values Amaha at approximately INR 300 crore, representing a near two-fold increase from its INR 177 crore valuation in a USD 4.4 million round in January 2024. For the fiscal year ending March 2025, Amaha's revenue reached INR 27.57 crore, up from INR 21.40 crore in FY24, while losses increased to INR 29.80 crore from INR 27 crore in the prior fiscal period.
Between Feb 2021 and Jan 2024, Amaha had attracted about USD 9 M from Lightbox and Fireside Ventures.For FY25, Amaha had reported about INR 19 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 25 Cr in Net Loss.
