Mental wellness platform Revery raises $2-M from Sequoia India Surge, others

San Francisco, US-based Revery, a mental wellness startup which combines cognitive behavioural therapy with gameplay, has raised USD 2 million in pre-seed funding led by Sequoia Capital India's Surge programme. Other investors include San Francisco-based Pascal Capital, Razer's corporate venture arm zVentures, as well as global investor GGV Capital, Some angel investors including founders from gaming platform Mobile Premier League and NonStop Games, as well as founders of startups MyFitnessPal and CRED also participated in the round. Founded in March 2021, Revery is currently in beta stealth mode and plans to launch its app in the US later this year.
