Microsoft acquires collaboration software startup Ally
Microsoft has acquired Chennai-based Ally.io, a software service that helps companies measure their progress against OKRs (objectives and key results), a common way the management measures both individual and company progress. Microsoft plans to incorporate Ally into its Viva family of employee experience products. Ally last raised capital at a USD 345 million post-money valuation. That price was set when the company raised USD 50 million earlier this year for a total of USD 76 million raised. Ally has more than 1,000 customers across 80-plus countries. It employs 250 people.
