Mid-market hotel chain Bloom raises Rs 78-Cr from Samena Capital, Ikonika Holdings
Delhi-headquartered mid-market hospitality brand Bloom Hotels has raised INR 77.7 crore (USD 9 million) from Samena Capital and Ikonika Holdings through an issue of 7,77,000,00 compulsorily convertible preference shares (CCPS).The company plans to raise INR 400 crore more from private equity investors, including General Atlantic.Founded in 2011, Bloom focuses on young travellers, it claims to leverage machine learning for workflow automation and enhanced customer satisfaction through its integrated platform. The company currently operates 50+ hotels across Mumbai, Pune, Udaipur, Jaipur, and the NCR.
Between Oct-10 and Dec-18, Bloom Hotels had attracted about USD 40.3-M from CX partners and Samena Capital.For FY24, Bloom Hotels had reported about INR 249.91 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 14.11 Cr in PAT.
