Millet snacks brand Troo Good raises INR 72-Cr from Oaks, V Ocean, others
Hyderabad-based millet-based snack brand Troo Good has raised INR 72 crore (around USD 8.6 million) in a new funding round led by Oaks Asset Management (INR 37 crore), along with V Ocean Investments (INR 25 crore) and Puro Wellness (INR 10 crore). The company is to issue 10,176 equity shares to raise the funding. The proceeds will be used to meet its working capital requirements.Founded in 2018 by Raju Bhupati, Troo Good sells millet-based chikkis, protein bars, and nutri bars. The company claims to sell over 2 million millet snacks every day.
In Nov 2021, Troo Good had raised about USD 7.40 M from Oaks Asset Management and V Ocean Ltd.For FY23, Troo Good had reported about INR 52.73 Cr in operating income and about INR 3.62 lakh in PAT.
