MoEngage acquires Agentic AI startup Aampe
Bengaluru-based customer engagement platform MoEngage has acquired San Francisco- and Mumbai-based Aampe . The transaction involves the integration of the Aampe reinforcement learning engine into the MoEngage platform to create a unified system for customer engagement and decisioning. The founding team of Aampe will join MoEngage to lead its agentic decisioning initiatives.Founded in 2020, Aampe provides a reinforcement learning infrastructure that uses multi-armed bandit algorithms and causal inference to provision autonomous AI agents for individual customers. The platform processes millions of dedicated agents to optimise content, timing, and channel preferences for users.
Between Nov 2020 and Oct 2023, Aampe had attracted about $ 9 M from Peak XV Partners and Z47.
