Morgan Stanley to raise $500-M India-focused continuation vehicle; to move 8 healthcare-focused port
Morgan Stanley's asset management arm plans to move eight healthcare-focused investments into a ‘continuation vehicle’ and is seeking to raise USD 500 million for the new India dedicated fund. The assets include Omega Hospitals and RG Scientific Enterprises Pvt. Morgan Stanley Investment Management invested in Omega in 2024 with a minority ownership and bought a controlling stake in RG Scientific that same year.Morgan Stanley Investment Management invested in the assets through its unit, Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia.
