MSME lender Saarathi Finance attracts Rs.350-Cr from TVS Capital, Lok Capital, others
Mumbai-based Saarathi Finance , a greenfield non-banking financial company (NBFC) focused on lending to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), has raised INR 475 crore in its Series A round at a valuation at over INR 900 crore. PE-VC investors in the round included TVS Capital Funds, Lok Capital, Evolvence India, Paragon Partners collectively - who collectively contributed about INR 350 crore. Saarathi Finance founders Vivek Bansal (CEO) and Sunil Daga infused the balance INR 125 crore.The capital infusion will support Saarathi's mission to bridge the significant credit gap faced by MSMEs, particularly in underserved semi-urban and rural regions across Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh.
