Mutual fund distribution platform Wealthy raises Rs.130-Cr led by Bertelsmann
Bengaluru-based Wealthy , a platform for mutual fund distributors and wealth management professionals, has raised INR 130 crore in a Series B funding round, led by Bertelsmann India Investments, with participation from existing investor Alphawave Global, new investor Shepherd’s Hill, and a consortium of tech entrepreneurs.Founded by IIT-IIM alumni Aditya Agarwal and Prashant Gupta, Wealthy intends to deploy the newly acquired capital to enhance its artificial intelligence (AI)-powered platform for mutual fund distributors.
Between Aug 2016 and Nov 2023, Wealthy had attracted about USD 15 M from Alpha Wave Global, Emphasis Ventures, Good Capital, VH Capital and others.
