National Investment Fund II partially exits e-scooter maker Ather Energy via Rs.541-Cr bulk deal
NIIF, via its National Investment Fund II, has divested a 2.28% stake in electric two-wheeler maker Ather Energy through an open market transaction for about INR 541 crore. The sale involved 87.02 lakh shares at an average price of INR 622.35 per share.Several institutional investors participated in the block deal purchase, including Edelweiss Mutual Fund, Invesco MF, Motilal Oswal MF, Ashoka WhiteOak Emerging Markets Equity Fund, Ashoka India Opportunities Fund, Param Capital (Mukul Agrawal), Societe Generale, and US-based Ghisallo Capital Management.
Between May 2022 and Aug 2024, Ather Energy had attracted about USD 119 M from NIIF.
