NBFC Clix Capital raises Rs.220-Cr from Apollo Global, founders

Noida-based non-banking financial company (NBFC) Clix Capital has raised INR 220 crore from its existing investor Apollo Global Management and founders Pramod Bhasin and Anil Chawla. It will use the new funds to strengthen its lending capabilities across the MSME, education, and healthcare equipment sectors, enhance its credit profile and invest in AI & ML technologies.Clix Capital’s current AUM (assets under management) stands over INR 6,000 crore with GNPA of less than 2%, with over INR 26,000 crore in total disbursements. With this equity raise, the firm expects to cross INR 10,000 crore AUM in the next 18-24 months.

Clix Capital had launched in 2016 by acquiring GE Capital’s commercial lending and leasing business GE Money Financial Services, with AION Capital funding the buyout.
