Netrasemi raises Rs.107-Cr led by Zoho

Trivandrum-based semiconductor startup Netrasemi has raised INR 107 Crore (around USD 12.4 Million) in a Series A funding round led by Zoho Corporation, with additional participation from Unicorn India Ventures. Zoho Corporation invested INR 87 crore (USD 10 million) and Unicorn India Ventures infused the remaining INR 20 crore (USD 2.5 million).The startup plans to use the fresh capital to accelerate its research and development initiatives, expand manufacturing capabilities and ramp up marketing efforts.Founded in 2020 by Jyothis Indirabhai, Sreejith Varma and Deepa Geetha, Netrasemi builds SoCs required for optimal computing in smart IoT (internet of things) products, specifically that is required in simplifying complex workloads like video processing.
