Nexus Venture sells 4.63% stake in India Shelter Finance for Rs.425-Cr

VC firm Nexus Venture Partners - through its affiliates Nexus Opportunity Fund II and Nexus Ventures III -- has divested a 4.63 % stake (50 lakh shares) in Gurugram-based publicly listed India Shelter Finance Corporation (ISFC) for INR 425 crore through open market transactions.The shares were sold in the price range of INR 850.85-850.88 apiece, taking the combined deal value to INR 425.45 crore. After the latest transaction, Nexus Venture Partners' holding in ISFC has come down to 10.62 %.ISFC is a housing finance company that specializes in providing affordable housing loans, particularly to low-income individuals and those with informal income documentation.

Nexus had invested in IFSC between Jul-12 and Oct-17. The company went public in Dec-23. Nexus had made a part exit in Sep-24.
