Norwest picks minority stake in autocomp player Padmini VNA for Rs.750-Cr

Global venture and growth equity investment firm Norwest has invested INR 750 crore for a minority stake in Gurugram-based Padmini VNA Group , an automotive innovation and sustainable mobility solutions provider.The target company offers emission control solutions, sensors, braking applications, thermal management, actuators, seat solutions, motors, solenoid valves, and advanced E-Drive technologies, holding over 100 patents. It has more than 200 R&D professionals and supplies original equipment manufacturers across two-wheeler, passenger vehicle, commercial vehicle, and construction equipment/off-road segments.The funding is intended to accelerate innovation in clean and connected mobility solutions, strengthen the group’s position in high-growth segments, and help in global expansion.

In Mar 2008, Padmini VNA Mechatronics had attracted about USD 10 M from TRG Global Private Equity.For FY25, Padmini VNA Mechatronics had reported about INR 981.70 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 147 Cr in PAT.
