Mumbai-based The National Stock Exchange of India has received a 3.92 times subscription for its INR 22,569 crore initial public offering. The Qualified Institutional Buyers category was subscribed 7.99 times, while the non-institutional investors portion was subscribed 5.07 times. The retail investor quota saw a subscription of 1.13 times. The transaction represents the second-largest public issue in India, following the 2024 IPO of Hyundai Motor India.The IPO, which is entirely an offer for sale (OFS), has a price band of INR 1,700-1,785 per share. Existing shareholders are selling part of their holdings.Earlier, the company raised INR 6,746 crore from anchor investors, including Life Insurance Corporation of India, Goldman Sachs, and Fidelity.

Between Jan 2007 and Mar 2023, National Stock Exchange had attracted about USD 2.18 Billion from 360 ONE, India Alternatives, Raintree Ventures, CPP Investments, Catamaran, TA Associates, Axis PE, Edelweiss Private Equity, Think Investments, Alpha Wave Global, TPG Newquest, Temasek, Tiger Global, PremjiInvest, Elevation Capital, General Atlantic, Goldman Sachs, Actis, Morgan Stanley and others.For FY25, National Stock Exchange had reported about INR 15,433 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 11,246 Cr in PAT.
