Nurses placements focused Borderplus raises $7-M from Owl Ventures
Healthcare industry focused, Mumbai-based talent mobility enabler BorderPlus has raised USD 7 million from Owl Ventures. The funds will be used to enhance platform capabilities, to strengthen partnerships, and to expand its reach through mergers and acquisitions (M&As).The firm has already started training its first batches of nurses, with the training lasting seven to nine months. It is currently looking to deploy 250 nurses by the end of this year.BorderPlus connects skilled professionals with opportunities around the world. The company was founded by Mayank Kumar, co-founder of upGrad, and Ayush Mathur, an early team member at Oyo. Currently, it is focused on enabling nurses in India to find jobs overseas.
