NuVentures launches $75-M fund to back AI startups with India connect
USA- and Bangalore-based NuVentures , an early-stage venture capital firm founded by Venk Krishnan in 2015, has launched a new USD 75 million fund. The fund will focus on supporting founders with a strong India connection. The fund’s primary focus will be AI, SaaS, and consumer tech. The fund plans to invest in around four to five startups annually, with investments ranging from USD 250,000 to USD 750,000.It has already secured commitments from Funds of Funds and high net worth individuals (HNIs) in the USA. It has also invested in four startups, including one founded by Carnegie Mellon alumni.
