Oman India Joint Investment Fund II sells 3.65% stake in Capital SFB for Rs.37-Cr
Oman India Joint Investment Fund II, an investment firm promoted by the sovereign wealth fund of the Sultanate of Oman and State Bank of India, has sold a 3.65% stake in Jalandhar-based Capital Small Finance Bank . The transaction was conducted through a block deal on the NSE, with Lyptus Punch-Card Fund acquiring the entire stake.Capital Small Finance Bank is a lender focused on retail and MSME (micro, small and medium enterprises) lending. The firm intends to leverage the continued traction in its MSME portfolio to support growth.The block deal involved the sale of 1.36 million shares at INR 270 per share, totalling approximately INR 36.79 crore.
Oman India Joint Investment Fund first invested in Capital Small Finance Bank as part of the equity round in 2019. The company went public in Feb 2024, as part of which OIJIF made a partial exit from the company.
