Omers, Norfund in talks to invest $200-M in Avaada

Canada-based pension fund Omers and the Norwegian government's PE arm Norfund are in talks to invest USD 200 million in Avaada Energy that could peg the company's value at USD 1 billion. Avaada Energy was founded by former Welspun Energy promoter Vineet Mittal.
