On-demand English tutoring platform Clapingo raises funding
Clapingo , a Delhi-based on-demand English tutoring platform, has raised funding from angel investors Biswa Kalyan Rath, Sandeep Aggarwal (Droom and Shopclues founder), Appurv Gupta (comedian and satirist) and accelerator Foundership HQ.Founded in 2021 by Sameer Agrawal and Abhishek KG, Clapingo helps learners to engage and practise with one another with the help of an AI teaching assistant. For a monthly subscription fee of INR 999, learners gain access to unlimited one-on-one practice sessions.The newly raised funds will be directed towards improving the product, focusing on the development of the fluency report system within the platform. A portion of the funds will be allocated to marketing initiatives.
