Oncology-focused health-tech co. Morphle Labs raises $5-M led by Inflexor Ventures
Bengaluru-based Morphle Labs , a healthcare automation company specialising in robotic and imaging systems for cancer diagnostics, has raised USD 5 million in a Series A round led by Inflexor Ventures.Founded in 2017 by Rohit Hiwale, Morphle Labs focuses on robotic and imaging systems for cancer diagnostics by streamlining histopathology automation. The company’s flagship platform, RoboTome, automates the slicing of biopsy blocks. Another product, MorphoLens, is a slide scanner that can digitise over 100 slides per hour using integrated optics and imaging technology, supporting remote pathology and higher-volume lab operations. Morphle Labs has filed over 80 patents across robotics, optics, embedded systems, and imaging.The company plans to use the new funds to accelerate global market expansion, scale manufacturing for RoboTome and MorphoLens, invest in global regulatory approvals, deepen its technology and IP leadership, expand its team and expand into major international markets.
In Sep-20 Morphle had attracted funding from Enzia Ventures.For FY24, Morphle had reported about INR 14.22 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 0.02 Cr in PAT.
