Cochin-based Eight Times Eight has raised capital in a funding round featuring participation from Kerala Angel Network, Kerala Startup Mission and individual angel investors including Tom M Joseph.Founded in 2020 by Athul Krishna, Abhijith M, Arijith M, and Adesh Joshi, Eight Times Eight operates an online chess education platform that provides structured learning resources to children. The company utilizes technology to integrate chess education with the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
