Online music education focused Artium Academy raises Rs.19.2 Cr Series A

Mumbai-based Online music learning platform Artium Academy has raised INR 19.2 crore (approximately USD 2.13 million) in a Series A round. Jejurikar Longevity Trust led the round, with participation from Savitha Ramesh and existing investor Chiratae Ventures. The company's board approved the issuance of 60,450 Series A compulsorily convertible preference shares (CCPS) at an issue price of INR 3,176 each. Jejurikar Longevity Trust invested INR 9 crore, Savitha Ramesh INR 7 crore and Chiratae Ventures INR 3.20 crore.Founded in 2020 by Ashish Joshi, Vivek Raicha, and Nithya Sudhir, Artium Academy is an online music learning platform offering 1:1 live classes across vocal and instrumental categories, utilizing technology for structured music education. The proceeds from this issue will be used for business expansion, growth initiatives, and general corporate purposes.

In Jul 2022, Artium Academy had attracted about USD 3 M from Anicut Capital, Chiratae Ventures, Whiteboard Capital, Others.For FY25, Artium Academy had reported about INR 27.74 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 20.30 Cr in Net Loss.
