Optimistic Capital launches Rs.200-Cr fund for microbreweries

Bengaluru-based Optimistic Capital, an investment firm established by alumni of ISB (Indian School of Business), has launched an INR 200 crore fund focused on microbreweries. The fund will target major markets such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune.The venture capital firm has introduced the fund to capitalise on the profitability of microbreweries and the growing craft beer market.
